Maryland Right to Strike will be hosting Bill Barry, a labor organizer and educator with over 50 years of experience, for a lecture on the decline of the labor movement and the steps we can take to revitalize our unions. Bill currently runs Maryland250 Labor History and the Sparrows Point Steelworker Project, having previously served as the Director of Labor Studies at CCBC from 1997 to 2012. Prior to that he held positions with Service Employees Local 495, The United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America, The Newspaper Guild of Greater Philadelphia, and The Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers.
