Our Work

Greater Baltimore DSA provides a hub for local democratic socialists and hosts several working groups focused on the most urgent concerns of the members in accordance with their capabilities. These working groups are transient by nature, but we are currently focused on the topics below.

Trans Rights & Bodily Autonomy

Through the Sanctuary Maryland campaign, we are building partnerships with organizations throughout Maryland to oppose Trump’s attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, immigrant populations, racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, working-class rights, healthcare access, and scientific truth.

Maryland Right to Strike

GBDSA supports the repeal of the ban on Maryland public sector workers striking. Come join us in working to restore the dignity and organizing power of Maryland workers.

Palestine Solidarity

We are opposing Israel’s genocidal occupation of Palestine through the Apartheid-Free Baltimore campaign. Signify your opposition to the United State’s material support of Israel’s genocidal actions by boycotting businesses supporting Israel and taking the Apartheid-Free pledge. Join our working group for more actions you can take and for a deeper discussion of the necessity of this campaign.
